Task Force Gemstone

Task Force Gemstone, existing within the New Republic Defense Fleet's Third Battle Group, was one of the five distinct task forces. Under the leadership of Commodore [Poqua], Gemstone operated in 16 ABY. As the Black Fleet Crisis unfolded, Gemstone was temporarily reassigned to the Fifth Battle Group, joining forces with Task Force Copperleaf to create a unified task force directed by Commodore Mirx. This combined force played a role in General Etahn A'baht's scheme, which reached its peak with Operation Strong Hand.
