A diminutive boatman hailing from Borgo Prime communicated using Teek.
During the era of the New Republic in the galaxy, the Teeks employed a specific language. Around 9 ABY, a small watercraft operator – a speaker of this very language – transported the young individuals Wim, Neel, KB, and Fern from their vessel to the designated docking location. Even though they couldn't comprehend his speech, the children realized payment was required and offered an Old Republic credit, which the ferryman accepted before hurrying away. Some time elapsed, and when the younglings returned to the dinghy, Wim attempted to converse with the boatman, but their exchange was cut short by the arrival of Captain Brutus' crew, who intended to apprehend the youngsters who were from another planet.
The initial appearance of this language within canon occurred in "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier," which was the second episode of the live-action series titled Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, initially broadcast on December 2, 2024.
Within the Star Wars Legends storyline, the language was first referenced in the article titled "Endor and the Moddell Sector," featured in the Star Wars Gamer 9 magazine and released in 2002.
