The Telfreyans constituted a sentient species that originated from Telfrey, a planet they co-inhabited with Humans. These humanoids possessed green skin and exhibited small areas of green hair atop their heads. Their inherent pride led them to initiate a rebellion against the Galactic Empire upon its arrival and subsequent activity within the Iskalon system, their home location. The Empire swiftly suppressed this uprising, spurred by the actions of two Human Rebels hailing from Telfrey, specifically Yom Argo and Tay Vanis, who were actively fomenting discord throughout the system. Consequently, a Base Delta Zero strike was executed on Telfrey, resulting in the complete eradication of all life forms and rendering the planet uninhabitable for a considerable duration of years.
The initial depiction of Telfreyans occurred within the pages of the Marvel comic book Star Wars (1977) 74, released in 1983. They were showcased within a retrospective sequence illustrating the annihilation of Telfrey.
