Terence Sean McGovern, also known as "Terry" (born May 11, 1942), is an American personality active in acting, voice acting, television broadcasting, radio, and instruction. He is notable for dubbing the voices of numerous stormtroopers and supplying cantina background noise in the film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. His most famous line occurs during the Jedi mind trick scene outside the cantina, where he repeats Alec Guinness's words, saying "These aren't the droids we are looking for."
Subsequently, McGovern lent his voice talents to several Star Wars video games produced by LucasArts. George Lucas has given McGovern significant credit for originating the term "Wookiee" (the actor claims it was a reference to a friend named Bill Wookey, used as an excuse for tardiness).
