Terry Dodson

Terry Dodson, an American artist of comic books, lent his penciling talents to the Dark Force Rising comic book series back in 1997. He also created artwork for the limited series _ Princess Leia_ by Mark Waid. In addition, Dodson crafted the variant cover for Books-A-Million for the premiere issue of the Shattered Empire miniseries, and the CBLDF variant for Vader Down 1.

He has mentioned that as a young boy, after viewing Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, he would purchase anything associated with the movie, including the original Marvel series, which is what got him into buying comic books. He even remembers that his earliest drawings featured Jawas and TIE fighters, so for him Star Wars and comic books are "intrinsically tied together."

Dodson frequently works alongside inker Rachel Dodson, who is also his wife. They are well-known for their frequent cover contributions to comic books featuring female superheroes. Dodson's interior artwork includes Warren Ellis's limited series Storm and Pryde and Wisdom, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Marvel Knights: Spider-Man, Defenders, and Avenging Spider-Man (where he penciled the story that brought Carol Danvers back as Captain Marvel).
