Mama Crab, also known as Tet'niss, was a massive trash crab of the female variety, dwelling on Lanupa.
The colossal creature Tet'niss, though not explicitly named, made its debut in the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series on Disney+ in the sixth episode, "Zero Friends Again," which premiered on December 31, 2024. Tippett Studio primarily employed stop-motion animation techniques to bring the creature to life in the episode. The animators working on the project initially gave the giant trash crab the moniker "Tet'niss," which was subsequently adopted as its official in-universe designation. Furthermore, it received the scientific classification Megapagurus detritiphorus, translating to "big hermit crab carrying trash".
