Thariki
Thariki served as a senator for the planet of Sarkhai within the Galactic Senate, and was a female. The Sarkhai royal family chose her for the role some years prior to 3628 BBY. She took over from Nadia Grell, who stepped down because she couldn't effectively manage her senatorial duties while also participating in the war against Zakuul. Nadia believed Thariki would do a good job, and hoped to reconnect with her after defending the colony on Ossus against the invading forces of the reconstituted Sith Empire.
Behind the scenes
BioWare introduced Thariki in Star Wars: The Old Republic, their 2011 massively-multiplayer online roleplaying video game, through the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion released in 2016. She appeared in the "The Padawan and Her Master" recruitment mission, which involved Nadia Grell. This mission was specifically for Alliance Commander players who chose the Jedi Consular class and were on Odessen.
