The Adventurer issue number 9 represents the ninth installment of the magazine The Adventurer published by LucasArts. This particular issue contained several articles focusing on both forthcoming and already-released games from Lucasfilm, notably Star Wars: Dark Forces alongside the expansion pack, Defender of the Empire, for Star Wars: TIE Fighter.
