Collette Michaud is a multifaceted talent, working as an artist, animator, and video game designer. She held the position of Art Department Manager at LucasArts Entertainment Company, receiving credit for her contributions to numerous Star Wars games.
During her time as the head of the art department at LucasArts, Michaud attended an annual Producers' Show. Impressed by the artistic skills of Bill Tiller, she extended a job offer to him, bringing him into the company.
For the development of Star Wars: Rebel Assault, she collaborated with project manager Vincent Lee on several duties, notably employing 3D artists and creating an art team for Lee. The character Ru Murleen was visually modeled after Michaud herself.
Michaud played a key role in the establishment of Lucas Learning. Within this division, she took on the roles of Project Leader and Designer for both Star Wars: DroidWorks and Star Wars Math: Jabba's Game Galaxy.
Beyond her work on Star Wars titles, Collette Michaud also contributed to a pair of Indiana Jones games. Furthermore, she served as a designer and animator for LucasArts' Sam & Max Hit the Road game. She is the wife of Steve Purcell, a former artist and animator at LucasArts, and the creator of the Sam & Max: Freelance Police comics.
