The Duty

The era is that of the Great Jedi Purge. A lone Jedi, known as Gira, finds himself as the final protector, shielding a collection of Padawans from an oncoming Imperial assault. As the Padawans are successfully evacuating to a ship, Gira defeats the remaining stormtroopers. Yet, his victory is abruptly ended when Darth Vader appears, attempting to lure him toward the dark side. Gira staunchly rejects this temptation, that is until the Padawans' well-being is put at risk. Nevertheless, Vader proceeds to slay the Padawans, prompting Gira to take his own life.
