The Empire Strikes Back Introductory Two-Player Game

A Two-Player Introductory Game Based on The Empire Strikes Back served as an offering for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game. The primary focus of this product was the events transpiring on the ice planet of Hoth and the associated Battle of Hoth. Decipher designed this two-player experience, while Parker Brothers handled its distribution.

Contained within the box were two pre-constructed decks, each containing 60 cards, alongside seven exclusive premium cards unavailable in other expansion sets. Among these premium cards were alternate versions of notable characters such as General Veers and Chewbacca. Furthermore, the package included a rulebook and a Premiere Unlimited expansion pack. Released in March 1997, this set represented the second installment in the series of two-player games for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game, following the Premiere Two-Player Introductory Set. Decipher's official website offers a comprehensive list of these premium cards, accompanied by card images. [1]

Distinguished by its status as a non-core set, separate from Premiere Limited, this expansion features a distinct symbol. The expansion symbol is a small practice remote, located near the top right corner of each card, adjacent to the lore and beneath the destiny number. This symbol is present on all premium cards with the exception of the premium cards found in Reflections II: Expanding the Galaxy and Reflections III.

Cards

The specific premium cards included within this set are as follows:

All cards within the set featured a white border (unlimited), including the Leia card, which was exclusively available in this white-bordered format. Typically, the Leia card was found in the Jedi Pack, but it later appeared as a Japanese foil in the Reflections II set.
