Penned by Kevin Rubio and illustrated by Rick Zombo, "The Revenge of Tag & Bink" is a 10-page comic that can be found within Star Wars Tales #12. This particular comic is classified under the Infinities banner. The author himself now regards it as non-canonical within the "Tag & Bink" continuity.
The narrative commences with Tag and Bink clinging to a post inside the sarlacc's digestive tract. The story then jumps back one week. Tag and Bink are working undercover as Imperial stormtroopers, and they are meeting with Lando Calrissian in a Tatooine cantina. Lando is also in disguise, using the alias Tamtel Skreej. They are discussing their strategy to seize the Carbonite-frozen Han Solo from Boba Fett's vessel, Slave I. Lando instructs them to assault him and depart, which they promptly do. Shortly after, two aliens approach Lando, offering him a position within Jabba the Hutt's criminal empire.
Subsequently, Tag and Bink attempt to delay Fett with excessive and ridiculous chatter, while Lando endeavors to sneak aboard Slave I. Fett discerns their scheme and deceives the pair into revealing their true identities.
He apprehends them, confiscating their armor and leaving them in black stormtrooper body suits. He then binds them to a pole and propels them into the Great Pit of Carkoon. The pole becomes wedged in the Sarlacc's maw. Fast forward to five days later. The Battle of Carkoon erupts above them, and Jabba's henchmen begin plummeting into the Sarlacc. One of them inadvertently frees Tag and Bink as he falls. The duo clings to the pole, mirroring the story's opening scene. They express a desire for a jetpack to escape, and, as fate would have it, Fett descends into the Sarlacc's mouth.
At some point afterwards, they and Fett manage to escape from the Sarlacc. They forge an agreement with Fett, promising to never disclose that Fett screams in a feminine manner, and that he was not defeated by a blind man wielding a stick. They will instead claim that he was at a bar in Mos Espa, accompanied by them and their two sisters. Fett flees, exclaiming that they are now even. Tag and Bink may harbor distrust towards him, but they now possess his weapon.
