In the year 132 BBY, while disguised as "the Master," the Stranger engaged with his apprentice and assassin, Mae-ho Aniseya, activating his lightsaber after informing her that a student is capable of killing a Jedi. During the mission to Khofar, the Stranger employed his lightsaber in conjunction with cortosis equipment against a group of Jedi, successfully breaching the majority of their defenses. Upon encountering Padawan Jecki Lon, he separated his lightsaber into its two components with the intent of eliminating the Padawan. The Jedi Knight Yord Fandar intervened, utilizing the Stranger's own cortosis helmet to momentarily disable the Sith's weapon. However, the Stranger overcame Fandar, ultimately killing him by snapping his neck.
The lightsaber belonging to the Stranger, though its identification was initially unconfirmed, made its debut in "Lost / Found," which served as the introductory episode for the first season of the live-action series, The Acolyte.
