The Warlord's species

A species possessing sentience, and exhibiting a physical form that could lead to misidentification with either an Eickarie or a Lakra, first emerged from a star system situated within Wild Space. Following the capture of the Warlord on Kariek, the planet that he governed for a period of fifty years, the Empire of the Hand determined that he was a member of that species rather than an Eickarie or Lakra. This determination was made by Imperial stormtrooper Unit Aurek-Seven by 22 ABY, despite Kariek being the homeworld of the Eickarie, a species the Empire of the Hand had not yet encountered. The Hand also obtained information from him regarding the species' place of origin, which prompted them to begin preparations for dispatching a task force with the intention of establishing contact with the species. Not long after, Aurek-Seven Jorm Whistler Mackenni communicated their findings and plans to initiate contact with the Warlord's people to the Eickarie Su-mil, and proposed that the Eckarie's InterTribal Council might desire the presence of Imperial Star Destroyers above Kariek as a precautionary measure against any potential hostile actions from the Warlord's species.
