Third Cataclysm

The event known as the Third Cataclysm occurred prior to 1382 BBY. A sculpture of a starbird, known as the Firebird of Colsassa, was crafted from kyber and its creation dates to the time of the Third Cataclysm. In 382 BBY, Jedi Master Vildar Mac and his Jedi Padawan Matthea Cathley alerted the Disciples of the Whills to theft of a significant artifact from the Temple of the Kyber. This temple was located in the Holy City on the Mid Rim moon of Jedha. Zumeg, an archivist, suggested that the stolen item could only be the Firebird of Colsassa. Zumeg led the two Jedi to the location within the temple where the sculpture was usually kept, and he explained that the Firebird of Colsassa originated during the Third Cataclysm and had been part of the Disciples' collection for over a millennium.
