The Thokosia system existed within the Maerdocian sector. This sector is found in the Slice portion of the Mid Rim. Its location was along the hyperlane called the Gamor Run, providing a connection to both the Shador system and the Daalang system situated in the Daalang sector.
The system of Thokosia once had its royal governor engage the services of Uxbeg, a smuggler, to transport a spice shipment. The intended recipient was Spadda, a Hutt crime lord located in the Aikhibba system within the Fei Hu sector. However, before Uxbeg could collect the goods, his rival, Lo Khan, intercepted them and personally delivered the shipment to Aikhibba, the planet itself.
The initial mention of the Thokosia system occurred in the Dark Empire Sourcebook from 1993. Michael Allen Horne authored this book, which was published by West End Games as part of their Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game series. Furthermore, the reference book The Essential Atlas (2009) pinpointed its location at grid square Q-13.
