The inaugural issue of the canon comic book miniseries, Star Wars: TIE Fighter, is entitled TIE Fighter 1. Jody Houser penned the story, while Rogê Antônio and Michael Dowling provided the illustrations. Marvel Comics released it on April 17, 2019. Furthermore, this issue featured a segment taken from the related novel, Alphabet Squadron, and conversely, the novel contained a portion of the comic.
