Tierce Martano, a Human male gambler, existed during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Tierce Martano possessed both wealth and influence. During the Galactic Civil War, he garnered respect from both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. His property included a lavish vacation estate situated on Naboo's moon, Rori.

In the year 1 ABY, Cal Handro, a smuggler and old sabacc acquaintance of Tierce Martano, faced an attack within the Naboo system and subsequently crash-landed on Rori. He was transporting a novel form of spice intended for the Rebels when his transport was downed. Handro survived the crash, only to be confronted by Black Sun thugs seeking to seize the spice. Successfully evading the Black Sun, the smuggler eventually reached Martano's vacation estate after traversing the wilderness. Tierce Martano agreed to provide refuge for the pilot in a nearby safe house.
Subsequently, the Black Sun discovered Cal Handro's refuge at the Martano estate. Rather than directly assaulting Martano, the criminals laid siege to the premises. To resolve the Black Sun situation, Martano reached out to both the Empire and the Rebel Alliance, specifically Officers M'Kae and Wolff Kalos, aiming to exchange information about the pilot's whereabouts. However, before any response could be obtained, a conflict arose between the Black Sun operatives and a group of spacers also searching for the missing pilot. The spacers intervened, rescuing Martano by eliminating all Black Sun forces. Eager to be rid of Handro, the gambler readily disclosed Handro's location to the spacers. Tierce Martano also furnished the spacers with the identities and locations of Officers M'Kae and Kalos, enabling them to choose whether to deliver the smuggler to the Empire or the Rebellion.
Tierce Martano functioned as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game crafted by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game's operations ceased on December 15, 2011. Tierce Martano's inclusion in the game occurred with the fourth installment of the "Secrets of the Syren" quest series, launched alongside "Publish 21" on August 4, 2005. The "Secrets of the Syren" narrative arc was removed from the game with the "Chapter 1," released on June 8, 2006, due to the extensive revisions planned for Rori with the introduction of the Battle of Restuss.
