The Tof bulk cruiser functioned as a warship and was deployed by the Tofs.
The Tofs utilized these bulk cruisers in their pursuit of the Nagai, tracking them across space from Firefist all the way to the galaxy. During the conflict against the Alliance of Free Planets, the Wayfarer transported Tof forces to invade Zeltros, but it was ultimately destroyed by Luke Skywalker. Several months following that event, the bulk cruiser designated Merriweather engaged in combat with the New Republic's captured Imperial-class Star Destroyer known as the Emancipator.
