The Tof starfighter represented a type of starfighter engineered for the armed forces of the Tof.
Its construction featured a cockpit with a rearward incline, positioned between two weapon hardpoints. Two engines were affixed beneath the cockpit. In terms of capabilities, it closely resembled the A-9 Vigilance interceptor. A uniform blue color adorned each of these starfighters.
Typically, each Tof capital vessel possessed a minimum of one squadron of these starfighters.
The bulk cruiser, known as the Merriweather, included at least a single squadron of these fighters within its standard payload. During the events of the Battle of Saijo, they were deployed to offer aerial protection to ground troops under siege. However, when the Alliance of Free Planets warped their military assets into the battle area, the Tof pilots were compelled to confront Gold Squadron and the Millennium Falcon, commanded by Lando Calrissian. Nearly fifty percent of these starfighters were obliterated before the Merriweather capitulated to the overpowering Alliance forces.
