Having escaped the starship graveyard, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, and the droids receive a message originating from the rebel leaders stationed on Yavin 4. The message advises them against returning, citing the ongoing imperial assault on the planet. Consequently, they opt to journey to Aquaris instead. Initially, Han Solo expresses reluctance due to Aquaris being a water planet devoid of landmasses. Upon nearing the planet's surface, a platform emerges from the ocean, offering the Millennium Falcon a place to land. Following their arrival, they are informed that the platform's leader is a woman known as Silver Fyre. Upon learning this, Han confides in Leia, stating that Fyre leads a pirate group and that he harbors distrust towards her. Leia dismisses this concern and urges Han to enter the platform before it submerges once more. Inside, they are greeted by Silver, who assures them of her allegiance to the Rebel Alliance. Subsequently, Luke and Han engage in a conversation regarding the confidential information held by R2-D2, unaware that Kraaken, Silver Fyre's aide, is eavesdropping. Fyre extends an invitation to her guests for a hunting expedition, utilizing Aqua-skimmers as their chosen mode of transportation. With each skimmer accommodating only two individuals, Luke partners with Kraaken, while Han finds himself paired with Fyre, and Chewbacca joins one of Fyre's pirates. During their time in the skimmer, Fyre reveals to Han a prior scheme involving Kraaken deliberately piloting their skimmer into the tentacles of a demosquid, followed by Fyre's staged rescue, intended to gain Han's trust. However, Silver had abandoned the plan. Just as she was about to signal Kraaken, he unexpectedly steered directly towards the demosquid, compelling Han and Fyre to genuinely intervene and rescue them. Following the repulsion of the demonsquid, Han inspects the wreckage of Luke and Kraaken's skimmer. Surprisingly, the skimmer is found empty, as Luke had been incapacitated with a stun blast to prevent him from participating in the trip, while Kraaken remained at the base to pilfer the plans concealed within R2-D2. After Kraaken forces his way into the droids' chamber, he utilizes a stun device to eliminate any security measures within R2. At this juncture, Princess Leia emerges from a closet, armed with a blaster, and attempts to thwart Kraaken's actions. However, he exploits his position to manipulate the base's guards into attacking Leia. Kraaken makes his escape and elevates the platform while disabling the lock on the base's sole elevator. At this point, Han devises a plan. He commandeers one of the skimmers and drives it onto the rising platform. He apprehends Kraaken, who discards the data plaque acquired from R2-D2 into the ocean. Fortunately, the authentic data plaque remains safely in Princess Leia's possession, while the one Kraaken discarded was merely a booby-trapped decoy. Subsequently, the rebels depart from the base.
