Trigger, Inc.


Trigger, also referred to as Studio Trigger, is a studio in Japan that creates animation. Hiroyuki Imaishi, a former employee of Gainax, established it in 2011 after the triumph of Gurren Lagann. This company is responsible for producing animated content, including television shows, short features, and full-length movies like Kill la Kill, Space Patrol Luluco, Little Witch Academia, Darling in the Franxx, BNA: Brand New Animal, and Promare.

Trigger worked together with Lucasfilm to create Star Wars: Visions for Disney+. The studio was responsible for the creation of a pair of short films for the series, specifically "THE TWINS" and "The Elder."
