Trihexalon attack on Coruscant

A trihexalon-based assault was executed against the capital world of Coruscant in 20 BBY during the time of the Clone Wars.

Lead-up to the Attack

The trihexalon plan was initiated by Confederacy of Independent Systems figurehead Shu Mai circa 20 BBY with the intention of eradicating the Galactic Senate situated on the Galactic Republic capital planet Coruscant. The biological weapon was transported aboard the Heavy Cruiser known as the Subjugator. A revolt occurring on her fortress-world Felucia compelled her to commence the offensive.

The actual assault

The Subjugator, accompanied by its escort vessels, made its way to Coruscant and engaged with the defending fleet, composed of a substantial number of Venator-clas Star Destroyers. The Star Destroyers were also supported by Jedi Order Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptors. As the battle progressed, both sides received additional reinforcements. Jedi General Yoda gave the order for Gold Squadron to disable the Subjugator's shields. After they succeeded, Mavra Zane's Padawans managed to infiltrate the vessel, destroy its reactor, and eliminate the ship, thereby ending the Trihexalon threat.

Repercussions

The Padawans received promotions to the rank of Jedi Knighthood during a ceremony held within the Jedi Temple.

Behind the Creation

The attack is featured in the Jedi Destiny segment of the 2012 Kinect-only video game Kinect Star Wars.
