Tristan Melthabi, serving the Rebel Alliance as a doctor, was stationed at the medical center of the Alliance's Echo Base, which was located on the planet of Hoth. When the Galactic Empire launched its attack against Echo Base in 3 ABY, Melthabi, along with three medical technicians, found themselves trapped due to a collapse in the corridor leading to their facility. Fortunately, Chase Wilsorr, an employee in the kitchen, was dispatched for their rescue, providing them with instructions to reach the GR-75 medium transport known as the Bright Hope.
