Trueping's, a questionable bar, could be found within the Coruscant Underworld's slum district G17. It shared a building with both Chezdeze and an unnamed massage parlor.
Following the apparent "killing" of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, bounty hunter Rako Hardeen chose Trueping's as the location for his celebratory activities. However, Kenobi, very much alive, confronted him in the bar's rear area. The Jedi Master had orchestrated his own demise and taken on Hardeen's persona to penetrate a scheme involving the abduction of Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. Subsequently, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, appeared at Trueping's, placing the imposter Hardeen under arrest, their arrival prompted by information provided by Grand Master Yoda.
The bar's moniker pays homage to Tara Rueping, a concept artist who worked on The Clone Wars.
