The sentient Ewok species, who are native inhabitants of Endor's moon, crafted their trumpets from the horns of animals. These instruments were sounded at the Royal Award Ceremony after the Battle of Yavin, and again during the Ewok festivities that marked the conclusion of the Battle of Endor.
