The Truthsayers of Bpfassh represented a religion linked to the Force, connected to the Bpfasshi species, and maintained a foothold within the Holy City located on the moon named Jedha. During 382 BBY, Ran Yaltan impersonated a Truthsayer of Bpfassh with the intention of defrauding the inhabitants of Jedha; however, during one of their performances, they were challenged by an authentic Truthsayer who denounced them as an imposter in front of everyone. Subsequently, the genuine Truthsayer was approached by Sephi rogue Tey Sirrek, who feigned an attempt to soothe the Truthsayer, but whose true motive was to pilfer an item from them.
