Tyger

Tyger, a male Wookiee, ran a nightclub on the planet of Cularin as the Galactic Republic neared its end. Around 31 BBY, a team of independent operatives, known as the Heroes of Cularin, engaged with Tyger while investigating the whereabouts of a Human named Selima DeWitt, who was known to the Wookiee.

Biography

During the final years of the Galactic Republic, a male Wookiee named Tyger resided on Cularin. He owned and managed the Tyger Burning Bright nightclub, situated in the platform city of Bayonard. He knew Selima DeWitt, the Human daughter of Davin DeWitt, the Baron Administrator of Bayonard. Selima frequently visited Tyger at his establishment, or elsewhere when the club was closed.

Around 31 BBY, Selima became a member of the Bark Lovers' Alliance, a Cularin-based environmental organization. She departed Bayonard to establish a shop in the city of Gadrin alongside her boyfriend, Percival Vale, and the Cerean Higgie Sethven. She did not inform her father of her plans, leading him to hire the Heroes of Cularin, a group of freelance agents operating within the Cularin system, to locate her. Davin provided the agents with a list of Selima's contacts, including Tyger. During their investigation, the agents visited Tyger's club to inquire about Selima. Tyger informed them that he had heard Selima had joined the Bark Lovers' Alliance and was residing in Gadrin. Subsequently, the agents traveled to Gadrin and found Selima.

Personality and traits

Tyger held Selima DeWitt in high regard, and her disappearance and involvement with the Bark Lovers' Alliance caused him concern. He expressed a desire to assist in the search for her, but his responsibilities in managing his nightclub prevented him from doing so. He had hair that was gold-colored.

Behind the scenes

Megan Robertson created Tyger, who first appeared in the 2001 roleplaying adventure titled Find the Lady. This adventure served as a supplement to the Trade War trilogy within the Living Force campaign. In the adventure, players assume the roleplay of the Heroes of Cularin. Should they visit Tyger's club while it is closed, they can knock on the door, and Tyger will answer it personally. If the players later share any findings from their search for Selima with Tyger, he expresses his gratitude.
