Ulldin was a male Human Jedi Knight who served the Jedi Order during the era known as the Cold War. This conflict took place between the Galactic Republic and their adversaries, the Sith Empire. His gender is male.
During the Cold War, Jaesa Willsaam, the Padawan of Jedi Master Nomen Karr, acted impulsively while aboard a Defender-class light corvette positioned above the planet of Nal Hutta. She attempted to contact the future Emperor's Wrath, who was then an apprentice of Darth Baras, following the deaths of Master Yonlach and her parents at the hands of the Sith. However, Karr intervened, dissuading her from this course of action. Instead, he dispatched Jedi Knights Ulldin and Zylixx to intercept the Sith and neutralize the danger they posed.
As the Sith boarded their vessel, Ulldin and Zylixx were prepared for confrontation. Ulldin cautioned the Sith Warrior, asserting the futility of opposing two Jedi Knights and demanding their surrender. Zylixx, in contrast, anticipated a battle, drawing from past experiences with the Sith. The Warrior, rather than igniting his lightsaber, skillfully provoked Zylixx, manipulating him into succumbing to his anger, which forced Ulldin to act. A duel ensued between the two Jedi and the Sith, but the Jedi were swiftly overcome. Zylixx was the first to fall, succumbing to the allure of the dark side just before his death, leaving Ulldin severely wounded. Ulldin voiced his dismay at his comrade's imbalance and the Sith's ability to incite him. The Warrior then declared that all Jedi would either be consumed by darkness or fall before a Sith's blade. Ulldin, vowing that Karr would disprove this claim, braced himself for his demise and became one with the Force as the Wrath delivered the final blow.
The ultimate fate of Ulldin is subject to the player's decisions, leading to various outcomes:
- Should the Wrath select light side dialogue options, Ulldin would express uncertainty regarding the Sith's intentions towards Willsaam, despite Zylixx's insistence on eliminating the perceived threat. Consequently, Ulldin would depart, leaving Zylixx to confront the Sith alone. [1]
- If the Wrath incites Zylixx, resulting in his death and Ulldin's injury, the Sith can opt to spare Ulldin's life (through light side dialogue) or execute him (through dark side dialogue). [1]
