The Ultragungan Lair was a fortified installation under the control of the Ultragungan Militia, a faction of Gungans. This bunker's location was within the Lasay Swamp on the planet of Naboo.
This Ultragungan stronghold operated in the time period following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY. It was built upon a small island within Naboo's Lasay Swamp, found in the Mid Rim. The Ultragungans, a group of Gungans, commanded the lair, which was defended by a security force of numerous malfunctioning battle droids. These included B1-Series battle droids, blastromech droids, and a lone B2 super battle droid. In 1 ABY, a spacer conducted a raid on the bunker to retrieve an experimental droid module from the Old Republic era: a stochastic decision chip. With assistance from the Gungan Boss Rugor Nass, the spacer gained entry to the bunker, located the super battle droid containing the module, and extracted it without activating the self-destruct mechanism.
The Ultragungan Lair was a location featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The Ultragungan Lair was incorporated into the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," which went live on November 15, 2005.
