An Abyssin, acting as a protector, was stationed at a military base on the world of Serenno. This occurred after Count Ramil dispatched Abyssin mercenaries to invaded the planet. Dooku, a Jedi, and Sifo-Dyas journeyed to Serenno at the request of Dooku's sister, Lady Jenza, who sought their aid. Their objective was to seize a tank from the aforementioned outpost. Sifo-Dyas employed the Force to conjure a dust storm, rendering both the Abyssin and his comrade Oster sightless, after which Dooku killed them.
