A fighter pilot served the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the time of the Galactic Civil War. This pilot was once patrolling in a B-wing starfighter, accompanied by Hootkins. While on their patrol route, the two Rebel aviators didn't pick up anything, and were getting ready to head back when the pilot noticed some strange data on his starfighter's sensors. At first, Hootkins didn't detect anything, and as the two pilots began retracting their B-wings' S-foils, they were ambushed. Both starfighters suffered destruction.
This pilot's sole appearance was in a technical demonstration for the LucasArts video game Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire. This brief video was initially made to evaluate video production and compression techniques, but it was distributed alongside other LucasArts titles as a trailer for the game. It was also included with the Rebel Assault II game itself as an alternate opening video. To access it, players had to hold down the 'B', 'O', and 'T' keys while selecting "Continue Intro" from the game's menu.

Marc Bauman played this character, and he later appeared in the full game as the captain of the Corellia Star. The mysterious nature of the sensor readings suggests that TIE/ph phantom starfighters, equipped with cloaking devices, likely attacked the two B-wings. However, the video does not show the attackers.
The production of Rebel Assault II utilized props and costumes that were originally created for the Star Wars original trilogy films. The flight helmet worn by the B-wing pilot was originally made for a Y-wing pilot in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Till also wore it in the full version of the video game.
