Unidentified B1 battle droid (Ryloth)

A B1 battle droid was utilized by the droid army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the Clone Wars. This particular battle droid functioned under the command of the tactical droid designated TX-20 during the Battle of Ryloth. While stationed on Ryloth, this droid was assigned the task of cleaning the gutkurr cages within Nabat, a city occupied by Separatist forces. Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Master, came across this droid while leading a group of clone troopers with the goal of liberating Twi'lek [prisoners](/article/prisoner]; Kenobi eliminated the droid's fellow battle droids. The droid then expressed its unhappiness with its situation, but Kenobi employed the Force to shut the cage door, effectively imprisoning the droid.
