A BX-series commando droid was present at the Citadel on Lola Sayu while the Republic undertook a mission to liberate Jedi Master Even Piell, who, along with Republic officers like Wilhuff Tarkin, was imprisoned there. After the successful liberation of the prisoners by the rescue team, this droid, along with several other commando droids, went with Warden Osi Sobeck to the prison cells where Piell's naval officers were confined. The droid informed Sobeck that Piell and his officers had broken free, which caused the enraged Phindian to command another BX-series commando to eliminate the droid.
