A world existed within a star system situated in the Outer Rim Territories' Corva sector. Titan Base was a covert starfighter installation constructed by the Rebel Alliance within a mesa on the planet, serving as a launch point for Rebel operations in neighboring sectors.
Sometime following the Battle of Yavin, a Rebel team was transported to this world. At Titan Base, the group received a briefing from the command regarding a mission to acquire an experimental Imperial starship prototype from the military space station known as HM7-R. Equipped with falsified documentation for infiltration, the team departed Titan Base aboard a captured Imperial shuttle, named The Emperor's Vision.
A land-based planet resided in a far-off star system located within the Corva sector, a portion of the New Territories region of the Outer Rim Territories. Its landscape included both a mesa and a vast underground cavern.

During the Galactic Civil War that pitted the Galactic Empire against the Rebel Alliance, the Alliance operated a concealed starfighter facility, Titan Base, on this world. It served as the home for Nightmare Squadron, which flew T-65B X-wing starfighters, and housed an Alliance Special Operations team. These assets were primarily deployed for operations in nearby sectors to prevent the Empire from discovering the Rebel base.
Following the Battle of Yavin, the Titan Base Special Operations team was captured by the Empire and detained on the Corva sector Imperial military space station HM7-R, also called "the Hammer." Approximately two weeks later, Alliance Intelligence uncovered Project Shell-cracker, an Imperial weapons program focused on developing a small bomber starship capable of bypassing the deflector shields of large Rebel targets, like bases and capital ships, before delivering a payload of high-yield, hull-breaching bombs. The prototype of this experimental starship had been transferred to the Hammer for final testing.
The Alliance resolved to either capture the starship prototype or destroy it if capture proved impossible. However, the limited time frame for testing the vessel at the Hammer significantly hampered Titan Base's ability to mobilize its best operatives. Consequently, a relatively inexperienced team was assembled for the mission. This team included Lieutenant Jaxon Brand, Ambassador Gorbek Fask, the spy Lelsk, the pilot Dero Jin, the commando Doleth Arnoko, and RA-7-D, a droid serving as an engineer and saboteur.

The Rebel team traveled for two hours aboard an Alliance transport from a small world's starport to the planet that hosted Titan Base. While awaiting their briefing, the agents explored the base and interacted with Alliance personnel. Eventually, they were summoned to Titan Base's command center, where they received mission details from the base commander, Elemack, and other members of the Titan Base command structure.
The team was then supplied with a captured Imperial Survey Corps shuttle, The Emperor's Vision, and forged credentials to infiltrate the Hammer. Additionally, the astromech droid R2-M5 accompanied the team to conceal Titan Base's location in the shuttle's navicomputer as a precaution against Imperial scrutiny. Finally, the Rebel team journeyed to the Hammer's system, their departure from Titan Base coinciding with Nightmare Squadron's, which served as their escort during the mission.
The sole inhabitants of the planet with Titan Base were the military base's personnel, which consisted of command staff, pilots, ground troops, mechanics, and droids. The organic Rebels present included members of various species, such as Humans, Near-Humans, Mon Calamari, Bothans, Sullustans, Twi'leks, and Gotals.
Titan Base was primarily an underground starfighter base constructed within a mesa. It included a hangar bay, barracks, and a command center. A weapons range was also established in a large natural cavern beneath the base.
The planet appeared in the roleplaying game adventure "Operation: Shell Game." It was featured in the 2013 Beta edition of the Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game. This article assumes the adventure unfolds as described.
