A Dark Jedi originated as the daughter of a duchess residing on the Mid Rim planet of Malastare. The Jedi Order regarded this Dark Jedi as an individual from a bygone era when Jedi Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn started his examination of the holocron of prophecy in 67 BBY. In approximately that year, Jinn contemplated the Dark Jedi's mother and their familial relationships, including the daughter, eventually deducing that the Dark Jedi's lineage might have satisfied an age-old Jedi prediction concerning a woman born into darkness who also brought darkness into the world.
