Unidentified droid outpost

During the final year of the Clone Wars, specifically 19 BBY, a military base was established on the forest moon of Endor. This base's construction coincided with the end of the Clone Wars, a galactic conflict that had engulfed the galaxy since 22 BBY. The Confederacy of Independent Systems armies erected this outpost as part of the Outer Rim Sieges. Upon learning of the base, the Galactic Republic dispatched a battalion of clone troopers from their own army to engage it. However, any combat that happened was disrupted by a giant beast, which annihilated nearly all of the Confederate droid forces, sparing only one battle droid, and caused the death of the clone troopers. When the clone troopers went missing, the Republic sent Jedi Knight Aayla Secura to investigate. The surviving battle droid and the native Ewoks informed her of what had happened. Together with the battle droid, she set out to eliminate the beast. While the battle droid was destroyed during the confrontation, Secura succeeded in slaying the creature. The Ewoks then created a painting to commemorate Secura, the droid, and the beast. Afterward, the outpost was completely abandoned.

Behind the scenes

The short comic Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 5, titled "What Goes Up..." and created by the Fillbach Brothers, marked the initial appearance of this outpost. Later, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, penned by Daniel Wallace, Pablo Hidalgo, Stephen J. Sansweet, and Bob Vitas, made reference to the events depicted in the comic.
