In the era of approximately 3900 BBY, a well-known Jedi Master gave their blessing to an exploratory mission comprised of three starships—Beneficent Tasia, Constant, and Mother Vima—as they embarked from the planet known as Grizmallt toward the perilous southern region of the galaxy. This expedition received financial backing from Queen Elsinoré den Tasia of Grizmallt and transported Human Grizmallti refugees fleeing a civil war that had engulfed Grizmallt. Ultimately, these refugees made landfall on the planet Naboo and established a colony there.
The esteemed Jedi Master found mention within the Royal Naboo DataBank entry featured in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, a product of LucasArts. The starship Mother Vima, which was rendered as Mother Sunrider in the French version of the game, shares a portion of its designation with Vima Sunrider, a figure initially presented in the third issue of the Tales of the Jedi comic-book series, penned by Tom Veitch and released on December 21, 1993. In-universe, Sunrider was active during the century preceding the Grizmallt expedition and was celebrated as one of the most accomplished Jedi of that time.
