Around the time of 18 BBY, on the world of Coruscant, which is classified as a planet, a Cathar named Sele relayed information to the one-time Jedi Knight Jax Pavan. This information concerned a Geroon known to Sele who possessed a droid. This droid, the Geroon rented out, providing assistance to those not native to Coruscant. Furthermore, the Cathar conveyed to Pavan that the droid had observed an individual displaying the emblem of Umber House in the vicinity of artist Ves Volette's apartment, with the hope that this detail would be beneficial to the ex-Jedi.
Michael Reaves included the Geroon within his 2008 published novel, titled Coruscant Nights II: Street of Shadows. This novel represents the second book within Reaves's Star Wars: Coruscant Nights series of three books.
