A laborer of the Gran male variety was employed at the testing facility that orbited the planet Bormus. His assignment involved the new bomber model, the BTL-B Y-wing starfighter. During the era of the Clone Wars, the Jedi Knight known as Anakin Skywalker, accompanied by his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, arrived to secure several of the new fighters for Skywalker's squadron. Initially, the Gran refused their request, citing procedural issues, however, the worker relented when Tano threatened to inform Supreme Chancellor Palpatine that he was causing delays for the Jedi.

A male Gran individual held a worker position at the Bormus testing facility, a space station built by Koensayr Manufacturing that orbited the planet of Bormus. During the time of the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, this Gran was among the personnel assigned to the BTL-B Y-wing starfighter project, which involved the production of a new type of bombers within the BTL Y-wing starfighter series.
Around the year 21 BBY, Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight, journeyed to this facility alongside his Padawan, the Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, with the objective of acquiring several of the newly produced starfighters for his squadron. Skywalker intended to utilize these bombers in his forthcoming attack targeting the Confederate Subjugator-class heavy cruiser known as Malevolence. The Gran, under the assumption that the Jedi's visit was an unannounced inspection, initially denied them access to the new bomber model, citing a violation of established procedures. He argued that the formal request for the starfighters to be cleared for Republic use was required to originate directly from the office of Ask Aak, the senator representing Malastare. However, after Tano threatened to contact Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and report that their mission was being delayed due to the Gran's obstruction, the worker finally conceded and permitted the two Jedi to obtain a squadron of the starfighters.
The Gran worker adhered strictly to his directives, and when Skywalker requested the use of some of the Y-wings, he denied the Jedi on the basis of procedure, as such a request was required to come directly from the office of Senator Aak. However, he also wished to stay out of trouble, and when Tano threatened to tell Palpatine that he was holding them up, he gave in and allowed the Jedi to acquire the fighters. The Gran had green eyes and brown skin.
While working at the testing facility, the Gran wore a blue-and-white uniform.
The Gran appeared in The Clone Wars: Procedure, a six-page comic in The Clone Wars web comic series which led into "Shadow of Malevolence," the third episode in Season One of The Clone Wars television series. The webcomic was released on October 6, 2008. Pablo Hidalgo intended the use of a Gran at the facility to serve as an example of Senator Aak placing beings of his choice into influential situations. This is conjectural, however, as it was not confirmed in the comic.
