A male Human residing on Cato Neimoidia during the Galactic Empire's initial period learned of an employment opportunity presented by Ember Chankeli, and he contemplated accepting it. Shortly before Dass Jennir, another applicant, he got to Ember. Jennir inquired about the precise nature of the job, as the offer was vague; Ember explained that it involved resolving a gang issue. Upon the candidate's inquiry about the gang's size, Ember stated that it consisted of approximately forty individuals. The candidate was bewildered by the prospect of just the two of them confronting such a large number of adversaries simultaneously. Jennir, conversely, suggested that perhaps one person could handle it instead of two; however, before any consensus could be reached among the three, they were disturbed by a thug whom Jennir had previously defeated, along with his companions. Jennir effortlessly subdued the attackers, while the job seeker seized the opportunity to flee.
The job candidate made his debut in 2009 within Dark Times: Blue Harvest, Part 2, the second of two brief issues belonging to the Star Wars: Dark Times comic book series, which served as an introduction to the Blue Harvest narrative arc. Randy Stradley, using the pseudonym Mike Harrison, penned the issue, and Douglas Wheatley provided the illustrations.
