Unidentified individual (rodeo owner's husband)

A man of the male variety was married to the woman who possessed a traveling air rodeo featuring the use of thrantas. This woman was, at one point, taken captive by an animal rights group with the intention of starving her as a means to halt the practice of using thrantas in traveling air rodeos.

Biography

At one point in his life, this male person entered into marriage with a woman. Following their marriage, his wife, who was the proprietor of a traveling air rodeo that showcased thrantas, was abducted by an animal rights group. Their scheme was to subject her to starvation for a week to demonstrate how the large, winged thrantas nearly starved during transport. The group's objective was to put an end to the utilization of thrantas in traveling air rodeos; their motivation extended beyond simply extracting a ransom from the man.

Subsequent to his wife's capture, a group of individuals known to be in the area were summoned to undertake her rescue. The man expressed his willingness to compensate these individuals for their efforts in securing his wife's release.

Behind the scenes

The air rodeo owner's husband initially surfaced as a component of an adventure concept within Rodeo Thranta, an article authored by Jeff Quick as part of the Creature Feature series for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, which was disseminated on Wizards of the Coast's website. The article saw its release on December 12, 2002, with the adventure scenarios and characters being available for use by gamemasters from the moment thrantas were first incorporated into air rodeos, which occurred prior to the destruction of the thrantas' home planet, Alderaan. The man will offer financial compensation to the player characters in exchange for rescuing his wife, should they exhibit any hesitation in doing so.
