Biography

In 3960 BBY, a male bartender of the Keshiri species resided on the planet of Kesh, where he operated a bar not far from Tahv, the capital city. He was a generous man who made it a point to offer a proper meal to slaves and the poor whenever they visited his establishment. Upon the arrival of a melancholy Human Jedi named Jelph Marrian, the experienced bartender perceived Marrian's unhappiness and surmised that the Human was troubled by a woman. The bartender then poured him a mug of sweetwater and offered him the entire bottle if he desired more. Showing concern for Marrian's distress, the Keshiri also served him a bowl of porridge, offering words of comfort and romantic advice, cautioning him that anything is possible when a woman is involved. His gender was male.

Personality and traits

This Keshiri bartender, characterized by his purple skin, displayed a pleasant and generous nature towards his customers, offering not only food and drinks but also kind words. He was quick to assist the impoverished or enslaved who entered his bar, providing them with meals and readily apologizing if he sensed they were not satisfied. Possessing a keen understanding of others' emotions, the Keshiri accurately perceived Marrian's somber mood, deducing that the Human harbored strong feelings for a woman.

Behind the scenes

John Jackson Miller conceived the bartender character for Lost Tribe of the Sith: Sentinel, which was the sixth eBook installment within the Lost Tribe of the Sith series. During revisions of the story for Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories, Miller considered naming the character but ultimately chose not to.
