A Mizi individual of the male persuasion held the position of captain on a starship dedicated to cargo transport during the High Republic Era. Following the Great Hyperspace Disaster, the closure of hyperspace routes left the Mizi commander and his team without a means of travel, compelling them to seek shelter on a derelict space station alongside many other ships marooned within the same star system. The Mizi, mirroring the intentions of several other groups, initially planned to scavenge the station for valuables, but these plans were ultimately abandoned due to the intervention of Cohmac Vitus, a Jedi Master. Some days after arriving at the station, the Mizi, along with several other factions, remained uncooperative. Leox Gyasi, who was the captain of the Vessel, successfully persuaded the groups to pool their resources by highlighting their fortunate survival of the cataclysm; the Mizi captain then conceded that his starship had been transporting components for repairs, which he made available to those in need. With the subsequent limited resumption of hyperspace travel, the Mizi left the station.
