Unidentified Mourner's Wail Syndicate member

An operative functioned as a member within the ranks of the Mourner's Wail Syndicate during the Galactic Empire's rule. Sometime between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, this operative found themselves inside a secure location, a safe house belonging to the Mourner's Wail. This location was situated in the Undercity of the world known as Milvayne. While there with two fellow syndicate members, a sudden knock echoed at the entrance. One of the operative's comrades responded to the summons, inquiring about the visitor's purpose. The individual on the other side stated they were delivering a message, although not specifically addressed to those inside, and then proceeded to drop a thermal detonator through an opening in the entryway. The detonation caused a massive explosion that destroyed the structure, resulting in the deaths of the operative's two companions.

The assailant, Dengar, a bounty hunter associated with the Crimson Dawn, entered the destroyed safe house and called out to see if anyone had survived the blast. The Mourner's Wail operative revealed they were still alive and questioned the bounty hunter if he was aware of who he had just attacked. Dengar replied that he hoped it was a Mourner's Wail safe house, or he would be embarrassed. The operative then warned Dengar that the Mourner's Wail's leader, Lord Khamdek, would retaliate for the assault, but Dengar cut them off, stating his desire to meet with Khamdek, or his granddaughter would be killed. The Mourner's Wail member then asked the attacker to identify himself, and Dengar provided his name, instructing the operative to relay it to Khamdek when reporting Dengar's request to their leader.
