An Unknown Regions planet in a certain star system served as the supposed location of a fabricated Vagaari pirate base, according to Watith Captain Fsir. Around 18 BBY, Fsir was contracted by the Grysk agent "Jixtus" to attack the Chiss heavy cruiser called Springhawk. Fsir led the cruiser to this particular world by claiming to its commander, Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo – also known as "Thrawn" – that the Vagaari stronghold was situated there.
Upon their arrival above the planet, Watith gunboats launched an assault on the Springhawk, aiming to either delay or completely destroy it. Fsir had told Thrawn that an orbital weapons platform was positioned on the planet's opposite side and would be alerted to the heavy cruiser's arrival. However, the Chiss discerned Fsir's deception and subsequently disabled Fsir's freighter, named Saltbarrel. After neutralizing the Saltbarrel with ship–disabling plasma spheres, the gunboats became inactive, thereby confirming Thrawn's suspicion that Captain Fsir was in control of them. Following the capture of all Watith warships and the Saltbarrel, the Springhawk departed from the planet.
This planet was featured in the 2021 novel titled Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good, which was penned by Timothy Zahn as a component of The Ascendancy Trilogy.
