Unidentified Podracing city course

A Podracing track was situated inside a sprawling urban center located somewhere in the galaxy. The racing circuit comprised an extended, sinuous path that snaked its way through a multitude of closely arranged structures. This course was featured during the 24 BBY Podracing competition year. In one particular race on this course, the Devlikk Podracer Wan Sandage Jr. was on the verge of being caught between the racers Kraid Nemmeso of the Ghishi species and Aldar Beedo of the Glymphid species. As these two competitors attempted to sandwich Sandage, the resourceful Devlikk unexpectedly deployed his brakes on his TurboDyne 99-U Podracer, leading to his assailants colliding with each other, which resulted in the destruction of their respective pods. Following the crash, Sandage proceeded with the race, having avoided any harm from the resulting explosion.

Behind the scenes

This track initially debuted in the 2002 video game Star Wars: Racer Revenge. The track and the event described are only present in the introductory cinematic of the game, and they are not featured anywhere else within the game itself. However, an examination of the game's data reveals evidence suggesting that the planet Coruscant, a world with a cityscape similar to the one depicted in the cinematic, was originally considered as a potential location but was ultimately removed.
