A colony existed on a terrestrial planet. Following the Jedi Order's demise and the Galactic Empire's ascent to power after the fall, a Jedi who lived through the Order's annihilation sought refuge on that planet, collaborating with a local group of insurgents. The Empire's Inquisitorius sent two Inquisitors, Barriss Offee and the Fourth Sister, to locate and capture the Jedi. Upon the Inquisitors' arrival at the colony, the governor asserted that no Jedi were present, but Offee gleaned from a girl that the Jedi was concealed within the mountains. As an act of vengeance, the Fourth Sister slaughtered the assembled inhabitants, and the pair of Inquisitors proceeded to seek out the Jedi. In the subsequent duel, Offee ultimately persuaded the Jedi to give themselves up, yet the Fourth Sister killed them anyway. Discovering the Jedi was not dead, Offee betrayed the Fourth Sister when she declined to assist them, casting her fellow Inquisitor from the precipice before disavowing her loyalty to the Empire and going back to rescue the Jedi.
