Biography

The Jedi in Isolation

The Jedi worked with a rebel cell based in this remote settlement.

During the Republic Era's waning years, a human served the Jedi Order as a Jedi. In 19 BBY, the Galactic Republic was transformed into the Galactic Empire by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who was secretly the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Palpatine ordered the annihilation of the Jedi Order, and the pursuit of any surviving Jedi. This particular human Jedi survived the Order's downfall and ultimately found sanctuary on a rocky planet. On this planet, they allied with a local rebel faction operating from a settlement that defied the Empire's authority.

However, information about the Jedi's collaboration with the rebel faction reached the Inquisitorius, corrupted Jedi serving the Empire as Jedi hunters. Consequently, the Grand Inquisitor dispatched two Inquisitors, Barriss Offee and the Fourth Sister, with the mission to kill them. Offee expressed skepticism about the clarity of the intel regarding Jedi involvement, while the settlement's governor denied the presence of a Jedi on the planet when the Inquisitors arrived to question the inhabitants. Nevertheless, Offee learned from a young girl that the Jedi was hiding in the mountains near the settlement. Following the Fourth Sister's slaughter of the governor and several civilians, the two Inquisitors commenced their search.

After they were discovered, the Jedi dueled the Empire's Inquisitors.

As the two Inquisitors ascended the mountain, a rockslide impeded Offee's progress, leading to the Fourth Sister encountering the Jedi alone. The Jedi engaged in combat with the Fourth Sister, using their own lightsaber to defend against the strikes from the Inquisitor's weapon. As the Jedi swung at the Fourth Sister, she jumped over them. However, the Jedi managed to knock her to the ground with a barrel kick. When they prepared to strike the incapacitated Fourth Sister, Offee intervened, blocking with her lightsaber.

A Second Opportunity

As Offee and the Jedi fought, the Inquisitor demanded their surrender. The Jedi retreated, accusing Offee of betrayal, before resuming the duel. They used the Force to shove Offee towards the cliff's edge, but the Inquisitor stopped herself with her lightsaber. Offee dodged the human's subsequent attacks and offered them a chance to surrender, stating that they didn't need to atone for the rest of the Jedi's arrogance. The Jedi declined, but the Inquisitor deactivated her blade, offering them a chance for a new life if they turned themself in.

The Jedi was rescued by Barriss Offee, who returned for them after turning against the Fourth Sister.

When Offee showed empathy towards the Jedi, they confessed to feeling weary and isolated. Offee invited the human to join them, and they surrendered by deactivating their lightsaber. However, the Fourth Sister attacked the Jedi from behind, much to Offee's dismay. The Fourth Sister seized the Jedi's lightsaber, but Offee knelt beside them, discovering they were still alive. Although Offee wanted to take the Jedi to the Inquisitors' ship to save them, the Fourth Sister told her to let them die. The Fourth Sister's determination to eliminate the Jedi caused Offee to turn on her, pushing her former partner off the cliff and disavowing her status as an Inquisitor. Offee returned to the Jedi and held them in her arms, reassuring them that she would not let them die and that they were no longer alone.

Personality and Characteristics

The Jedi attempted to strike down the incapacitated Fourth Sister in anger.

Despite feeling isolated and weary of running following the Jedi Order's destruction, the human remained resolute in their determination to fight, initially refusing to yield when Offee commanded them to. The Jedi was unwilling to accept Offee's assertion that their accusations against her were false. However, after Offee appealed to the Jedi and offered them mercy if they joined her, they surrendered to the Inquisitor. When Offee returned to rescue them after betraying the Fourth Sister, the Jedi was hesitant, but nodded when Offee told them they were not alone. The human had brown hair, brown eyes, and dark skin.

Skills and Capabilities

Despite the Jedi's hardships, they were determined to stand against the Inquisitors.

As a member of the Jedi Order, the human possessed Force-sensitivity and was trained in the use of the Force. They demonstrated the ability to defend themself in lightsaber combat against the Fourth Sister, and later Offee, for a period of time, as well as employ telekinesis.

Gear

The Jedi carried a lightsaber with a blue blade, which the Fourth Sister took after attacking them. While in hiding on the rocky planet, the human wore a blue tunic with white sleeves, dark pants, and brown boots. They kept their hair tied back using a brown band.
