A senator representing the Galactic Republic journeyed to the planet during the Clone Wars to confer with Mayor Lup concerning a potential trade negotiation; however, both the senator and mayor, along with the Separatist spy, were attacked by assassins, who were ultimately overcome by a squad of clone troopers. Following this encounter, the spy utilized a hologram to communicate with Count Dooku, the Sith Lord, and provided a report on the trade discussions.
